Information We Collect
Crewless stores account, customer, lead, job, estimate, invoice, payment status, notification token, and message history data needed to run contractor workflows.
How We Use It
Data is used to manage work, send customer communications, process payments, trigger owner notifications, support the app, and create AI-assisted drafts when a user chooses that feature.
AI-Assisted Drafting
When a user intentionally generates an estimate scope with AI, Crewless sends the work description and selected drafting preferences to OpenAI to create an editable draft. Crewless does not automatically send the customer record or contact details. Users should review every draft before adding it to an estimate and avoid entering sensitive personal information that is not needed for the scope.
Third Parties
Crewless uses Supabase for app data, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Expo for push notifications, Twilio for SMS when enabled, and OpenAI for AI-assisted drafting when a user requests it.
SMS Messaging
Crewless may send transactional and customer-service text messages related to a customer request, estimate, appointment, job update, invoice, payment reminder, receipt, or follow-up from the service business the customer contacted. Message frequency varies by workflow. Message and data rates may apply. Customers can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages where supported.
SMS Consent
Phone numbers and SMS consent collected through Crewless are used for service-related communication. Crewless does not sell SMS consent or share it with third parties for their independent marketing.
